Last week we read all about God’s Servant who we were certain would be a mighty warrior and hero. He was a Hero but not a masked and caped avenger. He became a hero by suffering. For may years God’s people had wait and long for and look for him. One who would make everything right and just. One who would take care of our sin. That would save us from ourselves and our enemies. But we no longer wait. And the King that would have a forever throne and rule…We no longer wait for him either. They are the same person. We see that this suffering-sin-carrying servant is King and he is Mighty God, he is Immanuel, God with us, who displays his Goodness and his Greatness by leading his people out of the hands of their enemies. Also that he leads him people from being enemies of God to becoming a part of his people. He brings Salvation to all the Coastlands. To the ends of the earth and will deliver all of us by his mighty hand.
