This week as you expect to read the news and find death. You expect to be welcomed by a world of finger pointing and wagging and blame shifting and scapegoating. You expect to mourn losses this world brings to us and to the ones we love.

But instead Jesus meets you at an open grave and says do not be afraid. All the sickness and death and the whole dominion of evil over the world I have reconciled all things to myself, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Jesus looks to you, His Brothers, His Sisters, and though you may have turned against him yesterday he seeks you out draws you back to his presence and says you are Forgiven…he proves to you that he is The Resurrection and the Life.
