Psalm 150
Psalm 42
Psalm 73
The Psalter (Book of Praises) is not just a box that someone randomly tossed their entire record collection into and we get to pull out at will. It is an organized book that helps us understand who we are as people by helping us to see who God is.
The Psalms guides our hearts, minds, affections, emotions, and loves. This is God’s inspired songbook and we should allow God the Holy Spirit to change us through these songs.

Psalm 2
Psalm 2
[1] Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
[2] The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
[3] “Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
[4] He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
[5] Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
[6] “As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”
[7] I will tell of the decree:
The LORD said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
[8] Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
[9] You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.”
[10] Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
[11] Serve the LORD with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
[12] Kiss the Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him. (ESV)

Everyday Justice Session 4 (A History of Inequality)
Everyday Justice Session 3 (The Cost of Reconciliation)
This is the third of six sessions for our Everyday Justice Conference. During this exposition John Scheepers, Founder of Isiphambano: Centre for Biblical Justice, looks at Paul's letter to Philemon as a pattern but also at historical practices that have stood in the way of true reconciliation in the past.
Everyday Justice Session 2 (Cross Centered Justice)
This is the second of six sessions for our Everyday Justice Conference. During this lecture John Scheepers, Founder of Isiphambano: Centre for Biblical Justice, speaks about what Biblical Justice is and why it should find it's centre at the Cross of Christ. Using the paradigm of Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration follow along to find Christ at the centre.
Everyday Justice Session 1 (Question and Response)
This is the first of six sessions for our Everyday Justice Conference. This question and response time brings out many of the issues related to justice, race, and inequality that we are faced with on a daily basis. Issues that push us to God's word in order to get a proper biblically faithful response.

Encounters with Jesus Part Four
Luke 10:38–42
[38] Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. [39] And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. [40] But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” [41] But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, [42] but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” (ESV)
Encounters with Jesus Part Three
John 4:21–24
[21] Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. [22] You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. [23] But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. [24] God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (ESV)
